Garretts 8.5 coil cover, will it work with the 8" mono coil?...:garrett:

I just found this on the Garrett website....its a 8.5 inch coil cover...does anyone know if it will work on the 8" mono coils for the Sea Hunter and Infinium?

It was most likely made for those old 8.5 coils for the Master Hunter...etc....

The actual measurement of the mono coil is 8.5/8 inches even though its called an 8".

Anyone know if it will work?

A good Garrett dealer would probably know, if not a coil cover for the Infinium LS 8" mono coil is dead set easy to make.
I have made a few of them, makes the coil slide along the ground with little effort when it counts.

Nah dude, that Crossfire coil just ain't gonna fit. Sorry. Why not just use some spray on truck bed liner?

I like those coil covers that Ivanll made. Pretty cool.
