I saw a post somewhere that said the Z-LYNK transmits at a single pitch. I use a Fisher F70 and usually have the sound set for delta pitch. I find the pitch changes gives me a lot of information.

Does the Z-LYNK work with delta pitch sounds?

It works with the tone of the machine. It does not transmit its own tone. On some machines the pitch may be slightly different than you are used to with headphones but very minor.
