I recently had problems with my GTI 2500 and sent it in to Garrett to get it fixed under warranty. They had it back to me in six days! Service was excellent! But....UPS broke the head off of it in shipping. Took me three weeks to get it straightened out with UPS! Garrett A+ UPS F- Jim

Yeah I quit using UPS long ago. That bunch could tear up a steel ball.

I find the USPS to be as good as UPS and normally a more cost effective option. And dont even talk about shipping overseas with UPS...either you or your customer will faint. The last thing I want is a paying customer to get the dropsies over the cost of shipping. My regrets to those who own stock in UPS,but my motto has become: "Down with Brown."

Yeah they really went down hill when they got greedy. Forthe employees everything has a time limit that they must adhere to. They used to knock on your door and hand youyour package - now they rap on the door, toss your package on the porch, and split.

A fellow whose son works for them was telling me that the employees who work on the conveyors loading and unloading have to move 1800 packages per hour. And I sduppose the drivers have to deliver so many per hour. I've had much better luck with the Post Office and a lot cheaper.
