Garrett Service Department is 2nd to none

I sent in my 10 year old 2500 for a couple minor repairs and what I got back was basically a brand new machine from coil to battery holders. This is the kind of company that cares about their products and the customers using them with out a doubt.
I have been a Garrett dealer for about 10 years and I am still amazed at the quality of service and helpfulness of the Garrett staff, they are definitely 2nd to none.

Fantastic service. Compare that to the people who sell the WORX battery operated weed trimmer. I bought one last month and got the lithium batteries and they don't hold a charge barely 15 minutes and I sent them 2 emails May the sixth and have not heard a word from them. Sort of makes you appreciate Garrett and their good service. All companies are not created equal. What really upsets me as a long time subscriber to Popular Mechanics, is they vouched for these people and I am very disappointed in their product and lack of service. I asked them to send me some new batteries, because I like the unit and it's light and doesn't make a lot of noise like my Home-lite gas weed eater, but not one word have I heard from them.

I agree completely. Last winter I send them my Grand Master Hunter and they restored it to like new condition and turned it around in just a few days. It is an oldie but I like it.

Oh yeah!:super:Garrett's service rocks!:yo:Second to none. I've had nothing but great experiences with Garrett's customer service over the years.:wiggle:
I've been rubbed the wrong way by white's, fisher, & minelab in the past. Tesoro has a great "limited" lifetime warranty and they've done me right in the past when I had my LST. They all make great machines, but Garrett's great customer service is one of the main reason why I choose to specialize in Garrett metal detectors.:biggrin:Happy Hunting!:)

Hm-m-m........A couple of years ago I was drying the water out of my GTA 300 and it slipped out of my grasp and fell to the floor-while it was falling I grabbed for it and caught wiring by mistake and ripped out a couple of surface mount components-I wonder?:rofl: They have treated me BEYOND belief in the past-so good I just took this incident as a major d/a experience in stupidity.:please:

Yeah they can't be beat for taking care of their own. Their service alone is worth the price of admission.

Inform them that you are going to put the word out on them over the internet. That will get their attention. Tell them you are a regular on a website that goes out to millions of people. The sqeaky wheel gets the grease.
