hi, i have a tricky one to decide on can anyone help - i have used a pi for 17 yrs but it has given up on me and i wish to have a new machine.
 
If you are a PI kinda guy, then the DF will probably be the best choice, but get ready for a coil that floats? I would probably own one, if the coil was not bouyant and I would want an 8".
 
Apparently, from the forum reading I have done, guys are having trouble with the coil
being difficult to keep on the bottom in the water, on the Dual Field. I have one and
if you dive and/or snorkel with it, no problems. And it goes DEEP in the sand.
