Garrett Sea Hunter

I'm looking seriously at one of these detectors. Reads well, & the reviews stack up ok.

I've never used a PI detector before, & the specs state that the pulse is adjustable.

My question is, which dial on the Sea Hunter adjusts the pulse??

Probably a stupid question for those who know...................:sadwalk:

The ELIMINATION knob controls the pulse transmit/receive timing. This is the effective way a PI can "DISCRIMINATE".
The principle is that it delays the timing of the control box looking for a return signal from the pulse signal.
Be careful in its use because after some iron is eliminated the gold begins to be eliminated. Always test with a nickel.
If you can detect a nickel, you will detect all but a very few pieces of gold.
