Garrett Sea Hunter PI & Volcanic Islands?

Does anyone have experience of the Sea Hunter 2?
I am interested in wading in Canary Island.
Previously I have taken my Excalibur which is ok. Tempted to take the PI for depth but unsure how it will behave. I only have weight allowance for 1 machine unless I empty my wife's suitcase when she sleeps.
 
Been to a lot of the southern islands and must say that the Seahunter MK11 has served me well on all sorts of bottoms. Good luck on the trip and awaiting your post on this adventure!
