Saw a Garrett Preadator on fee bay.Then did some checking on the internet,people were calling it junk!.My question is it really that bad,to anybody that ownes one or had it Was it a goof on the companys part?

Old technology. Unless you can get it for $50.00 or less, don't bother.

The Predator is the old Garrett Treasure Ace series sold by Kellyco under a private license agreement. Garrett produced this series for a short time but it wasn't all that popular. I field tested the TYreasure Ace 300 and wasn't all that thrilled about it. It's not a bad machine but you would be better off with a 250.
