Garrett Part Needed And Kellyco...Still Can't Believe What I saw.

All I wanted was the mounting band for the Z-Lynk. A spare just in case something went wrong. Checked around with no luck and decided to go to Kellyco...In stock and $1.96 each...Went to check out and the shipping would be $22.50 for an Item that could be put in a standard envelope with one forever stamp...I wish I could say something but I would be banded....

Hey HH, the band looks a lot like a vacuum cleaner belt, maybe a local store will have a match.

Give Kellyco a call. I'm almost positive that they will give you a much better shipping quote, over the phone.

Call Garrett direct, they might even send it at no charge for the part under warranty and free of shipping.

I needed a capacitor once, none were available locally. Found it on e-bay but I had to buy a box of 100 for $1.75, and like $5 for shipping. How crazy can some people be?

You could always use ponytail holders. I use them on my Deteknix transmitters and they work extremely well. You can buy a pack of them for around a dollar.

Velcro works better than the rubber bands, switch from detector to detector quicker and stays put.

get an old bicycle inner tube and cut some rings from it, much cheaper and they last for ever. It only holds the unit on the detector.
