I believe that you are reffering to the Sea Hunter XL 500 Pulse

They were made from 1986-1998. I don't own or use one, but maybe someone who does will chime in with some advice. I use the Sea Hunter MKll, which replaced the XL 500 Pulse. I also own the older XL 500 VLF, which I have been known to use on occasion.
