Garrett Master Hunter CX Plus??

Is there such a thing? I'm looking for a deal on my 1st detector and a guy emailed me and said he had one of these. I did a search and nothing came up for a CX in here. If there is such a thing, are they any good? what all will the find with stock coils?

Thanks,
Bones

Yes there is, be sure if you buy one to get the arm rest attachment.

It is a good relic hunting machine, but if this is your first machine, I would suggest the ACE 250, which costs less and is a great all around detector, better then many costing 3-4 hundred dollars more.

it is my first so im looking for something accurate without costing me an arm and a leg. i know if/when i find something good, i'll be hooked, so i'll go ahead and upgrade. i found a white prizm ii for $85 and the white guys seem to think its ok, so i might just get it and get hooked then get a bad boy. thanks for the replies.

The Ace 250 would be your best shot and you wouldn't have to upgrade unless you wanted to as it performs like an $800 detector. Garrett can't make them fast enough to keep up with the demand. I'd be leery of an $85 detector regardless of brand.
