Garrett Man

Dream Catcher

Today I'am sending my high end metal detector (from another well known company) to Kelly Co. to sell on consignment. Then, I will use the proceeds to by an AT pro. So, I guess that makes me a "Garrett Man." I found my other detector actually had too many adjustments and I spent a lot of my hunting time "fiddling. I never did completely master the detector. I have been following the AT pro and it looks like it offers a lot of important features that are easier to adjust.

I am looking forward to spending time on this forum and getting to cyber-know many of you, better. Keep your fingers crossed that my detector sells quickly. I assigned a very competitive price.

Did you try selling it here on the classifieds? You may have been able to sell, or even trade for an AT Pro, depending on what detector you have, and you wouldn't be paying a commission to anyone.

I thought about e bay and classifieds etc. The point is the commission I'll pay to Kelly Co is worth the trouble of not having to do it myself. Also, this way I'll get national exposure... They charge 10% commission if your going to use the proceeds to purchase another detector from them. I am OK with that and in not hurry. It's too cold and wet up here to do much hunting, anyway. I live in the Seattle area and it's suppose to rain for the next 10 days straight. Unusual weather we having...

You picked one of the main reasons I first looked at Garrett detectors - very little messing around with settings. At most, hit a few buttons to adjust to the area and HUNT! No programming equals more time searching.
