Garrett Infinium ls 3x7" DD Search Coil

Hi everyone , can I fill the Garrett Infinium ls 3x7" DD Search Coil with some material to be waterproof ? because the 10x14 DD is to big to pinpoint underwater ..thanks everyone
 
Well I wouldn't tamper with that coil much. Maybe someone else has. But lots of us use the 8" mono coil. Real nice tool.
 
I had one 8" mono coil and does a good job but is very noisy in black sand, biside got demage in salt water now i have the stock 10x14 DD and the 3x7 DD that i want to make it waterproof .
