i have the detector and standard dd 14x 10 coil, wondered if any one had tried other coils and their thoughts on them . also are larger coils availble? and thoughts on them . have a whites gmt and the garrett is quite different .and am looking foreward to getting to know it , best regards Bob local aussie

The 8" coil is very sensitive to tiny objects and also gets superb depth. The 10 x 14 mono is great for covering large areas, also gets better depth and is lighter then the 10 x 14 DD coil. Also, tiny objects let themselves be known as such with this coil. I opted to keep the 10 x 14 mono coil on my machine permanently.
