Best place to start is the Infinium Classroom and then the Infinium Prospector Forum.

I would start with the 8" mono coil you have because it will help with the learning curve at the beach!
It runs a little smoother and is easier to pinpoint with.

After you find some serious bling$$$, get the 10x14" mono as it's a tad deeper and covers more area!
Take the time to read the forums dedicated to this detector............practice and practice, it will all start to make sense in no time!

I got mine about 5 months ago. Use it mostly on the beaches in Vancouver, B.C.
I turn it on,, GB it, away i GO. I will be picking up a mono coil just for the coverage & depth. I like the machine.
