Steve Novakovich has two masters degree from MIT. He might know a thing or two about technology. Good things on the horizon!

If you want to keep up or stay ahead of the competition you need to have the best of the best.

Hopefully he's reading the forums and seeing the complaints people have about the iron audio volume. Maybe they will have an update to the ATMax that turns it down a bit? or an ATMax 2 with iron audio volume control.

I don't have an ATMax, but judging by the videos and the complaints, this seems to be a real issue, and is the main reason I don't have one.

While they're at it, they should add an adjustable tone break and stop forcing the rest of the world to buy the International version. Make 1 version and let the user decide where he wants the tone break to be.

Hope so. The detector world is getting ultra competitive, and Garrett is going to need to be working hard to stay viable. I'm sure their engineers are already working on the next new model.

I know for a fact that Garrett is constantly designing and testing new products. I would not be surprised at all if Garrett already has a design ready for a later date.

I wonder if they would bring back the old flagship detectors updated and lighter GTI 2500 @ 2.5 pounds

With size imaging, shape imaging, lightning speed, scary depth, true gold ID, cell phone, GPS, voice recognition, no searchcoil (just aim and shoot), camera, treasure talk (again) new frequency technology.....maybe one to obsolete all others! Perhaps! :bouncy:
