Woke up early this morning and slipped out for a quick hunt with the GTP 1350, as I needed to look after my sick daughter this afternoon. Man...it's getting cool. The puddles were frozen and the weather read as minus 8 with the wind. I thought I'd try another relic hunt and I'm glad I did.

I broke into the 1800's....found a Vicky British Farthing, 1897, a rare find. My first farthing. :) Also got a 3 ringer mini, also rare in this part of the province. Hope the weather holds...still have lots of plans.

Speaking of Mensa, your comment tweaked my foggy old memory. Many years ago I received a big, brown envelope in the mail from Mensa wanting me to join. At that time they wanted an annual membership fee, you had to go someplace locally and take their tests, which you had to pay for. I decided it wasn't worth all that to just carry a card in my wallet stating that I was smart. I already knew that and it didn't cost me a thing.
