Hi -- has anyone tried the 5 x 8 DD coil on their 2500 or 1500? is the target ID still accurate and the issue with rusty bottlecaps a problem of reading in the high coin range? === as compared to the 9.5" imaging coil or my 4.5 sniper --most bottlecaps come in or around zinc penny ------ just considering buying the 5 x 8 -holding off on buying the AT pro or Gold --hopefuuly getting similar performance in the trashy areas i hunt , thanks in advance, Rick

I have never used one on the GTI 2500 or 1500, but from what I understand they do not allow for the Target Sizing feature. Other than that I do not know how they preform on them. HH and GL

i,m in coal country, in Nova scotia, I got a new gti2500 off my uncle and with the concentric coils it was useless, I ordered a 8.5x11 dd and its a new detector and very deep and easier to swing. The bottle cap will lock on 25 cents, for me in canada that is not a problem as our coins read all over but do show a pattern after a while. With the dd you don't have imaging but with a short swing over target with the knife like coil you can tell the size
