Garrett GTI 2500 Treasure Hound with Eagle Eye

Hi everyboby,

I hesitate to buy a Garrett GTI 2500 with the "Treasure Hound" option, but I am not sure it will be what I really need.

Does anyone has tried this detector with Treasure hound, and is it really as good as it seems ?

Thanks a lot for your help.

(I wonder also about the detection depth with the tall (12") imaging coil, so if you can help me on this point, I am interested).

Using this option takes metal detecting to a new level. The Treasure hound option is used to find large deep relics. By large, I mean at least pop can size. It won't sound off up individual coins or coin sized objects. Be prepared to dig in depths of feet, not inches. This attachment is for a more specialized type of hunting.

Below is a field test using the Garrett "BLOOD HOUND" .....an older but similar two box attachment.
