Garrett GTI 2500 Pro Disc Question

Hello users,

I am looking to go after ancient gold coins, my question is will Garrett GTI 2500 Pro be able to accept only ancient gold coins in custom mode and avoid all other metals at the same time. I read about being able choose custom option for a specific target and disc all other metal. In a Garrett video shows you a custom setting for an earring where trying to find the identical pair. So my other question, do the 'custom option" pick only the identical pair target or just any target with same metal conductivity or shape.

If you have one to scan and see where it shows up on the icons, you can reject everything else. I'd keep one icon each side.

I imagine it would work, but believe you would miss out on some good targets that way. If you knew for sure those type coins were around by finding one and then using custom, it would work. But, other gold targets of different purity might be excluded. The guys who have been using the 2500 longer can answer this question better than I can.
