I have an old Garrett groundhog, I wish I could afford a newer one, but I can't at this time. I've had some luck with it years ago, but not to recently. Has any of you older fellers had much luck with this model.
Thanks,
Eddie

Hey Eddie,
The Groundhog was my first machine. It was a great detector. I found a lot of coins with it but most of them were about one to four inches deep. I then went to the Deepseeker model. It was a little harder to get used to because it was a vlf machine.( very low freq.) It went deep though, found some good silver with that one. Then it was the Master Hunter series .By that time I became a full line dealer and sold all brands. Lot of great machines out there! I quit detecting for several years and got back into it two years ago. I bought a minelab expII and having fun again with all my Garrett buddies.
Good Hunting
Al
