Garrett Green Detectorist Backpack

The Green Detectorist Backpack offered with the Fall Special on the AT Pro/Gold is No Longer being made....Kelly Co still has a few in stock, but if you need a replacement, your pretty much out of luck...They sell for $50 or so...There is no viable replacement at the moment for those of us who rely on that pack to carry the ATs...Sue at Garrett stated that a new pack might be in the works...I have also been bending Garrett's ears to come out with a fully waterproof Pin Pointer, and also to do a few mods on the ATs...Namely adding an Anti-Glare screen for the faceplate...!!!...I consider the AT Pro/Gold a system, and if you are missing one part or another, it is like missing a limb...Your handicapped...Some parts (at least for me), are essential...The Backpack was one of those parts...The stitching at the top of the shoulder straps started to rip on mine, and I can no longer trust it to hold up under weight...I carry about 25-30 pounds of equipment in my pack, and it is usually on my back through a full hunt if I am in the woods or anywhere I cannot trust to set it down while hunting...
Why Garrett decided to stop production of this item is beyond me...Word has it, that a new pack is in the works...Hopefully, it will be American made and tougher than the previous model...

HH,

If you can find one go to a shoe repair shop and they'll sew it up. My mother had a leather purse that 1 of the handles came off of. Shoe shop sewed it back on and charged $3.

[size=large]i found a newer version @ kellyco. at least it's one of garrett's i'd not seen before.
