i just installed the garrett gizmo on the AT PRO and you really feel the difference. thanks again kenny for a awesome product  Clad

OK i just gotta ask, whats this gizmo and what does it do??and why does one want this??I'm only asking cause I'm still on the fence about the at-pro,just asking for all the info i can get before i make a final decision..
thanks
john

It extends the arm cup back towards the elbow. It makes the AT Pro have a more balanced feel to it. The AT Pro is coil heavy when it is stock. The gizmo is finely machined and sturdy. Would you pay the Gizmo price to extend your hunts and make that pain in your swinging arm go away? That is the way I looked at it.

I have question about the angle of the Gizmo. I just received my Pro today. So far, NOT impressed!! Will the gizmo change the angle of the screen upward? With the pro as it is now the screen is angled down and is very hard to read. I find myself lifting the screen up to see. I compared my MXT to the PRO screen angle and the MXT is angled up where as the PRO is straight ahead. I was hoping you could compare the gizmo with stock and see if it points the face up. Thank you, Greg

The Gizmo will extend the cuff back with 3 adjustments. The angle of the head won't change. Try shortening up your rod and that will bring the control head upward. It's possible that you have it extended too far?

I like the name the Gizmo. Makes me want to jump off the proverbial fence and make a decision about a detector. I think U have a good product Kenny . And the competition is all there for U , Good Luck
