Garrett Gizmo

I ordered one today. Balance is the key to longer detecting. I'm getting too old to muscle it all day. No body ever told me getting old was going to hurt.

I think they were afraid that we would be more wild and crazy in our youth, and maybe not care if we made it, if they told us how painful our Golden Years were going to be. Skip

Your arm doesn't get close to the bolt. Also if you fastened it from the side you would have to drill holes through the rod. The Gizmo utilizes the original cuff holes so there is no alteration of the rod or machine.

Thought about one, and I am sorry (just keeping it real)...It seems a bit pricey for me no more than what it is...I have a friend that works at local machine shop, I'm gonna see if he can fab something similar for me..

I also have the same concern with the bolt(or the looks of it anyway). This is just a suggestion but have you thought about supplying a curve head bolt like in my picture with it instead? please dont take this the wrong way as your device is a very nice looking unit...

I looked into the curved headed bolts. Most I found were 5/16 max. They were around 3 to 4$ each. I haven't found any 3/8 x 1.25 curved headed bolts. If you have a source I would look into it again. This would raise the price though. But to repeat myself. Right at 100 units sold all over the world. Money back satisfaction guaranteed or your money back. Not one unit has ever been returned. Your arm doesn't come close to the bolt head.

Installed on the detector just a few minutes ago...Excellent quality....Thanks Kenny
