:garrett: Garrett Detectors Performed Well Again For 2006. Here Are My Totals :garrett:

n/t

That's an enormous haul John. You show why it's good not to cherry pick.
Well done.
My total for the last 54 weeks, stands at $845.50 (since I have owned the X-Terra and now the Ace250) Most of that is $1 and $2 dollar coins, but being influenced by your penny popping hunts, I'm now digging the smaller coins, which has seen my coin count jump by a factor of three for about a 20% increase in total face value. Finding more coins, certainly puts more enjoyment back in the hobby, regardless of their value; and who knows; by digging these targets now, may increase my chances of finding a few rings! So far not too many.
Congrats!:clapping:
Mick Evans.

Nice Totals John...you got me beat on the silver and rings.
Still a bit of time left before year end.

John,
You are so fortunate, it seem that every other household has at least 1 MDer in the area where I live; however I am still finding lots of silver coins, not to mention clads and relics.
I have found 8 federal 58 cal. minnie balls in the last week.
When I find a civil war relic, to me is a really sobering thought that the last person to touch it was trying to kill his fellow man before he got killed himself. However it is also rewarding to hold a piece of American history in your hand.

I get the same feeling too on the relics. There is still silver out there. You need patience and research to get it. And of course using a Garrett helps a lot too

No matter who beat who....

"metal detecting is a hobby, and hobbies are meant to be enjoyed"

and yes...there still is time left this year. :)

I call it an addiction......similar to slot machines, only the odds are always in your favor.....you "Always Win" :)
