Garrett Gals Witnessed Another Gold Find With The Infinium Tonite :cool:

Made a quick exit from work, headed home and packed up my water equipment for another water hunt to cool off. No rings tonite, however a nice gold medic alert pendant surprised me at about 8:30 in the water. It was down at about 12 inches. I'm batting a good average using my Infinium so far. My previous 4/4 hunts produced gold!

Hello!

I'm about to purchase a Garrett Ace 250 from Dixie Metal Detectors and need to know if I'm making a good decision.

I'm more than a newbie...I'm an embryo!

David Keith answered all my questions and was very pleasant and helpful. I know zilch about detectors so have been reading many of the posts on this forum. From that, I was able to narrow it down to two detectors and was pleased when one of Mr. Keith's suggestions was the Ace 250 as it was also one of the two I am considering.

I recently acquired a cabin in the woods of Western Maine where once stood a large main lodge and many other guest cabins. The main lodge burned down in 1909 and only a few other cabins are still standing but most have not been used in decades....with the exception of some deer hunters. This area is high in mineral mines as well (not sure if this matters or not in selecting a detector).

So....should you be able to tear your eyes away from the "Garrett Girls", I would love to have any advice you would like to share.
