Garrett AT Pro

There are always it seems, generations, of machines. You could call it that. From what I have read many machines have problems when they are released and changes are made to fix them.

What are you referring to?

Just wondering if there are possible updates for my machine, guess I should call Garrett and ask to be sure.

Originally, some AT Pro's had some falsing and water leaking issues. Garrett allowed all the users to send them in and have them repaired and extend the warranty. Garrett has excellent customer service.

How would a ATP owner tell if they had one of those machines? Have they all been repaired or removed from the market? I have only had my ATP for a few weeks. Until the Saltwater, which I believe normal I had no problems. However, at a club hunt and in pro mode I received signals constantly, more than ever before. I ground balanced and reduced the sensitivity, but still got constant signals.

U can probably just have the circuit board and or other electronics updated..if you have one under warranty I would assume they'd just update automatically if it's sent in for repairs.. But maybe not

Just sent mine in, had it for over a year, for pin point issues. Sue said they would also do any updates since I bought it. Now, just waiting for it to come home!
