Garrett AT Pro Helps To Find Flour Gold With A Mini-Rocker  :video:

Spent most of the afternoon along a gold producing river. Manually setting the AT Pro ground balance to 20 with the iron audio on at full sensitivity allowed the AT Pro to sound off on the areas in the river with the higher iron oxides concentrations, which is usually where most of the flour gold can be found. Using my home made mini-rocker, I did about 25 large pan-fulls of gravel in a little over 2 hours...hence I nicknamed my mini-rocker a "Speed Panner." Check out my short video on how it's done and my gold finds.....

Yes it is......I built it about 20 years ago. I also have a large one too, which I can use a battery operated water pump to pump in the water.

Nice John . Question for you does the gold get bigger as you go closer to the Rockies. ?
How far west did you try for gold.?

No......it's flower gold from about Rocky Mountain House to Saskatchewan. One theory is that it chemically drops out of the water?
