I hit a couple of different locations this morning to see what I could unearth. Right off I found a 1941 Mercury Dime near a shrub bed. It was surround by some nails but it give off enough of a high tone to make me investigate. The next silver coin that I found was next to a sidewalk was a 1950 Washington Quarter. There was junk all around it, but I decided to once again check out the high tone that was just barely breaking through. I'm glad that I did because that quarter was a pretty sight coming out the ground. The last silver coin that I found was a 1937 Mercury Dime. It was on a steep slope, it give a clear high tone audio and was locked onto a 83 VDI. I just knew that it was a silver dime before I even dug. A long the way I also found a bunch of Wheat Pennies (1950, 1939, 1923, 1946, 1953, 1947, 1951, 1942, 1945, 1950, 1953) and some other neat stuff. I had great the day and the weather was wonderful. I was using the 5 x 8 inch coil, full sensitivity and the pro zero mode. About 7 inches on a dime is its max in my soil. Some of those audio signals today were just barely coming through.
