...............................................................but it's a nice one! I found a 1896 Barber Quarter right off the bat this morning at a old park. I'm beginning to believe that silver coins bite better early in the morning. For the rest of the day I didn't find anything but a bunch of Wheat Pennies (1921, 1944, 1937, 1927, 1944, 1944, 1920, 1953, 19??, 1959, 1950, 19??, 1941, 1956, 1920), a old game token, and a couple of bullets. I was running the AT Pro in the Pro Zero Mode with maximum sensitivity. It ran super quiet. My deepest coin was a wheat penny at 8 inches with a weak broken audio signal. I'd like to use a bigger coil but the AT Pro is too bad out of balance for my arm to handle for a long hunt. That's a crying shame. At any rate, I'll make do with the 5 x 8 coil, it kicks butt up to 7 inches or so. I'm going see if Jim will loan me his NEL Sharpshooter coil to see if I like it any better than the 5 x 8 coil. I'm going to sell my unused stock coil.
