Garrett American S2

Looking fore any help fixing the S2 detector.
Problem: does not detect any metal or coins. Tune button works makes all the noises when turned on. Checked the coil and have readings from both sets of wires. All toggle switches work.
The board looks clean and in perfect shape, all components look clean also no short marks or burn marks.
Any help would be appreciated.

You were saying earlier you couldn't locate an operators manual.
Google-ing "garrett american s2 manual" gives over 400,000 hits.

The very first one is this one, directly off the Garrett site:

You could get lucky here, and find out you're just not tuning it properly.
