Garrett-ADC coil

Does any have a old garrett ADS coil,I purched a old ADS detector at a flee market for$15.
I need the pre-amp out of the coil, any size coil will do.the conector wire has 5 pin holes,4 around
and 1 in the center of the connector. fjs5015@yahoo.com
 
Hi, I'm not aware of any preamp board in a Garrett coil...I know they use an L.C. network in most coils and a lot of them use aluminum wire,,this makes it hard to solder to the board without the proper solder....Is this the 5.5khz coil? If so I see them for sale occasionally on Feebay....Good luck.....H.H.....JJ
 
Yes it a 5.5 khz coil,I wont the electronics from the coil.Think about trying to
make DD coil for the ADS.Also wont to get restance from each coil and match
wire size.Thanks for the input.
