Garrett Ace 350

Hello all,
I'm new to the hobby and I am looking at detectors to buy. I have my eye on an Ace 350. Can anyone tell me if this is a good machine?

Yes it's a great machine and comes with the DD coil and gets very good depth, add a sniper coil and a sun ray probe to it and your set, HH hank

Thanks for the feed back. I pretty sure this is the one I'm going to get. Looks easy to use and most importantly its in my budget!! With two kids there is no way I can get one that a $1000 bucks. The wife would kill me!

After 18 yrs in the hobby, I recently traded for an ace 350.. ( my very first garrett ever !! ).. I am pleasantly surprised on how well it hunts for coins ( the bell tone boing for a coin hit does take abit of time to get used to )... and the depth is actually very respectably for a lower priced detector......I do like mine alot, and I think it would be a great starter unit for somebody who doesn't want to soak a bunch of $$$ to enter the hobby..

The nice thing about it is you can use the coils from the Ace 250 on the 350 but
not the other way around. You will want to buy the sniper coil for sure. I use it
quite frequently!

Just telling the truth, I want to get another ace350 it's just a good machine, the sunray probe is awesome to have on it, I just wish the Atpro had one, hank
