garrett ace 250?

[size=medium]Hello Mike, Apparently it does quite well on beaches. The only risk is that it is not waterproof. I haven't made it to the salt water beaches yet but if you check out You Tube dot com and type in Crackbadger he demonstrates how well he did with a Ace 250, very impressive! If you want a machine to go under water then you will need something else. A lot of people come to realize you need more than one detector but the Ace 250 is a great machine with an excellent reputation. Have fun! I got a cover for mine to keep out the rain, surf, etc. They cost about 15.00[/size]
 
This is a very Good Machine in the dry sand at the beach. I was skunked by that little impressive Green machine. My friend found an 18kt baby Ring and he put it on the sand and I didn't hear it.Although both of us could get dimes at 6-8 inches
