I've been very happy with my ATPro and have enjoyed using the stock and 8x5" DD coils. I'd like to know if anyone has used both large coils regularly and thieir findings. I'm familiar with user opinions of the aftermarket NEL coils. I'm interested if there are any real gains in depth tedting in ground. Usually separation is more important to me but seeing how stable the ATPro runs Id be interested in a coil that gave me another inch of reliable ID and tone.
Thanks - HH - Bruce

I prefer the 9"x12" concentric coil over the stock DD coil. I don't really notice any difference in depth, it has more accurate IDing capailities and doesn't always read bottle caps as coins. It is also deadly with pinpointing when you pin-point off the inner front coil.
