garrett 250 or 350 in heat for long period ?

I was wanting to take my 350 camping for a week....its going to be super hot tho. Can it stored in a bbag sitting in a car in the heat damage the detector ?? Thx !!
 
I leave my detectors behind the seat in my truck sometimes and have not had any problems. I do leave the windows cracked about an inch. HH
 
I don't like to admit it, but I keep an ace 250 in my work van year round. I keep it there just in case I run across an old park while I'm out on service calls. In the last 4 years, I haven't had any problems with it at all. I certainly don't suggest that you do that, but the aces seem pretty bullet-proof.
