Garrett 250 control box reposition

has anyone attempted to reposition the control box on an Ace 250 to maybe a bit lower to get a better view of the screen?:detecting:

You could tilt the head some by adding some flat washers under the front mounting post. This will tilt the head some.
 
If you don't use headphone you might want to do it. There is no need to desolder the connector. There is an easier way. But really you should used headphones with a volume control. This saves on batteries and keeps other people from hearing your beeps.
