garrett 250 coil

Best one for what purpose?? Each one has it's own niche, there is no "best" for everything. They are all quality coils, you have to decide what you plan to do with it.
 
Upgrade to a bigger coil for more depth is good for relics and a small coil for jewelry and coin in trashy areas!
 
Excelerator 10 x 14 DD would be my first choice. It's good for open areas and goes deep. Pin points off the tip of the coil and is right on every time., but if your around playgrounds, with a lot of poles then the sniper coil is the trick your looking for. Each coil plays its roll in detecting. Since I got these two I haven't put the stock coil back on.
