Well, finally a day to myself. I packed the car and went out to search some new locations. Tried both water and land.

Strange things you find on some back roads. Found the remains of a moose, with all the good parts removed. Looks like a poacher did it. I had my first good signal in this area.

I was in the middle of nowhere, when I get this strong nickel signal. I figured a shotgun shell would come out, but I was very surprised to find this. I also found some pennies from the 40's & 50's in this area.

Well, I needed a change, so I headed to this lake nearby and some research told me that there could be some more goodies here too! The lake is still mostly frozen.

Well, I found three silver dimes near the water, and also a couple more rings. I couldn't believe it!

Well, here is the best I could do today! Not too shabby. Today was a 7 hour hunt.

And my bones were telling me to head home and get some grub. I packed up and away I went. It just doesn't get much better then this.
