i need one metal detector for the beach, i want know if it's good inside the water for find gold or coins, what are your's experiencies. i want for find inside the water only

[size=large]if you're gunna dunk it then the AT PRO is the machine. good up to 10 ft. under. there's a bunch of underwater machines if thats all you're gunna do that may be better suited to you needs.

If you only want to hunt in the water then you might want an Excal or CZ 21. The AT-Pro is meant to be more of an all purpose machine and it does it pretty good. But a dedicated water machine will do better if that's all you plan to hunt.

AT-Pro "Think water resistant."

Good for the beach and in the shallow water, control box be careful.

This is my experience. Others may have had better luck.

Look at a Tiger Shark built like a tank, good in fresh water, if you would like to save $.

Excal or CZ 21 top of the line for water machines.

Good hunting

I have done well with the AT Pro in the water. The tones and VDI numbers are a real help! Below are the rings I got this past year, both land and water.

The Garrett AT Pro is an excellent machine! Water is a Great place to find lost gold!

Holler if you have questions or want a great deal! Be sure to mention findmall forum for best price! Thanks, Bart.

Did you find these in salt or in fresh water?

That makes sense. I tried my AT Pro in salt water yesterday and while it can be used, I had to lower the sensitivity to 2-3 bars and the depth wasn't very good. It should be fine in fresh water.
