GARETT 2500 eagle eye reading... PLEASE HELP .

I find it really hard to interpret the readings of the Garett 2500 deep penetrating eagle eye.

I read the manual using eagle eye but the reading is just more of sound and in all metals, there appear marks from iron to gold.

In an area, I detected from both sides and marked the loudest sound but I really can't understand which reading is positive or negative.

Please help how will I determined if it is positive esp large volume like a cement box.

Thank u.

It sounds like you have the idea down. As you pass over an object, the sound ramps up, then fades out as you pass it. At the peak is when you are standing over the target. It does take time to get used to it. I take a long T handle probe out with me when I use mine to try and find the target first. Have you tried digging any of the peak sounds yet?
