Garage Sale Treasure

A friend and his wife bought a purse for $1 at a garage sale. On the drive home she was going through the pockets and found a diamond ring and two gold earrings. She wanted to take them back but he said finders keepers. The ring has $150 scrap gold value. Some people have all the luck.

No kiddin' they do :clapping:

Nice investment for a $1.00

my mother got a silver chain and earings at a junk sell it turn out to be from a very old spanish designer sold it on ebay for 1200$

Interesting moral question...was it wrong for them not to take the ring and earrings back? If it was wrong then what about people who buy an old painting or some other rare antique from a garage sale and then make millions on it. Should they have brought it back too?

Karma....

A moral question like that can only be answered truthfully by the person involved. Some say finders keepers, some say return it...some don't say at all. Guess that's what makes the world what it is today. What-ever the reason, they have to live with their choices and the results. JMHO........ Gold Nuggets :wiggle:

Yep and better to be happy for someones luck/success than to despise them for it.
