GAMMA vs VAQUERO

I hesitate between Gamma and Vaquero. I have not seen talk any place about comparing Gamma with some Tesoros. G gives more info from display, it is clear. G has multi-ton audio, which should be better than single-ton. G has audio more reliable audio than F70, 75 or Xterras, what I have read.

So from my point of view, with Gamma I get more information and comfort. Is there anybody experienced, who might give his opinion on it?

Sounds like you've pretty much answered your own question. I had a Vaquero and have a Gamma. Something you forgot was that the Vaquero is somewhat more sweep speed sensitive. The Vaquero is actually my favorite Tesoro but the Gamma has so much more to offer in features and flexibility IMO. As for the audio of the Gamma vs the other detectors you mentioned, we might be talking semantics around the word "reliable" but I'd say the audio with the Gamma isn't really more reliable as it is just easier to digest and process.

The Vaquero isn't as forgiving on various sweep speeds in order to nail co located targets and getting max depth. Not a big deal but it's something one needs to be aware of in order to get the best out of it. You can cruise or crawl with the Gamma and be more confident.
