G2 two hours this morning second day with it a real small test

Took the G2 to a local lake swimming area it is filled with nice white sand about a foot deep under that is red mud. This spot is hunted by me and many others all summer long with water detectors. In the fall TVA lowers the lake for flood control and then every one with a metal detector heads there to get and left over jewelry and coins. It has been dry for over a month now and pretty well picked clean so I decided to see if the G2 could pick up any targets at all there this morning. Had about two hours I could kill so off I go. Found a good number of targets nothing really great but you can see what the G2 can do on small targets. Was running it wide open in discriminate mode with the disc set to 35. Dug no iron or hair pins and this place is full of them. I was really impressed at the size target the 11in coil will get.

Looks like the G2 didn't miss much there! :crylol: If you're pulling targets that small you wouldn't have missed much for sure!
