Hunted a really long time today. I started out in a farm field that I have pounded and left after about three hours of finding nothing much but iron. I switched detectors and did some yard hunting in an 1850s house and found nothing. When I was leaving the second location I realized that my new Garrett pin pointer was missing. I went back to the original field and since it was about a half mile walk to the house site I carried the detector and figured I would hunt some if I found the pin pointer. Found it on the way so started hunting again. Spent another two hours at the place and just about the time I was going to quit I hit this 1903 dime. "Hit" is a bad choice of words because this beauty has been hit with the plow or disc. At least I wasn't shut out today. I collected some flat buttons, field iron, and a nice horse shoe with all of my iron treasures.
