G2 snags an 1868 nickel

Got away today for a farm field hunt. One of the guys in our metal detecting club found a nice map and got permission to hunt a site that went back to 1863. He was nice enough to invite a few of us along. There was plenty of evidence of a structure. Nails made the G2 sound like a machine gun with every swing. I was pleased when this persistent tone broke through the nails. I dug about 7 inches to recover this one. The Eagle button came from a different field a little later but I got it with my LTD. When we finally found the house site I was wishing I had the G2 but it was just too far away. Slowed down and got the button with the F75. I need to work on finding some prettier money I guess. Last two have been nickels and they don't take a very good photo.
