G2 - Micro Jewelry vs Micro Iron Bits

Last weekend I searched the volleyball court sand for micro jewelry with my new G2. I did not find any micro jewelry on this outing but managed to find lots of very small bits of iron, hair pins, etc. Although, if there were some micro jewelry I imagine I would have found it. Is this the normal finds for this type of hunting or am I aiming too low on the VID? I still had fun finding this junk:)

Set your iron rejection no higher than 30. Beyond that you risk knocking gold targets out.

Also, the 10" elliptical coil is showing to have greater depth on micro-jewlery than the stock 11" coil.

Just an FYI for the future.
