G2 handles bad ground like a champ

I got out this weekend & learned kind of what hot ground was like. It really messes with target ID. I had some bullets read like iron to pull tab. I can honestly say I've never had this or noticed this phenomenon before. I guess if you don't know its happening you wouldn't know. I dug a iffy signal & it was a Minnie ball. I dug it because it pinpointed Like a bullet. It was a real eye opener. I ran the machine as I usually do. 100/ sencitivity break at 40 & I ground ballence it with the threshold wide open. All in all I had a great weekend of detecting. Thanks for looking & HH TIM

Outstanding dude! Truly awesome! What was the ground balance reading? Do you remember what the numbers were, mineralization, etc?

It varied from 40's into high 50's. I had my NEL coil on in ballences lower than the stock coil.

Tim, so what did it sound? Do you remember what number it was reading in disc mode? Did it sound "Different " than a normal nail/iron grunt?

Thanks buddy!
