Pretty happy to be back in the Central Indiana bean fields. I took the G2 back to a site I found in the spring. I was aggravated that the field had changed so much and at first I couldn't find the home site. My mood improved immensely when I found the cool bell. Almost immediately after I started digging Indians. My first was a fatty, 1863. I also picked up two more Indians and some wheats. Still real impressed with the G2. It seems to be the answer for field hunting and so simple that my neighbor kid is picking up more than his share of treasure when I let him use it.
