G2/GB in all metal question

Anybody hunting in all metal in heavy iron trash? Do you watch the meter for it to jump up?. Just wondering those hunt in all metal sometimes.

Rick, N. MI

Rick, I use my GB in all metal at the beach, and often there has been a lot of trash, including the steel bottle caps and other bits of iron.. Sometimes you just have to dig, but I do use the scale a lot to tell me where the target lies in relation to IDs that I know e.g. certain coins. Hope this helps...I think the extra depth you get in all metal with the GB is worth digging a few extra targets. Who knows, one day one of the bits of junk may be the $20,000 platinum ring I was looking for:laugh: Pete
